PKL 10: Can We Expect Any Changes in Bengal Warriors Lineup for Clash Against Jaipur Pink Panthers?

The Bengal Warriors have put their foot on the right step initially and have kicked off the proceedings in PKL season 10 on a winning note. They got the better of the Bengaluru Bulls in a close game by 2 points and managed to clinch the victory with a score of 32-30. The Bengal Warriors will now be up against the Jaipur Pink Panthers in their second match of the league on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. IST at the Arena by TransStadia, Ahmedabad.

Predicted Starting 7 for the Bengal Warriors Against Jaipur Pink Panthers

1. Center: Maninder Singh

Maninder Singh, who had scored 238 raid points in the previous season, has begun this season with a super 10 and has shown the real meaning of leading from the front. It was Maninder’s 11 points in the last game that helped the Bengal franchise taste victory.

2. Left Cover: Shreyas Umbardand

Shreyas Umbardand, who was kept on by the management following PKL season 9, would be leading his team's left cover unit defensively. As expected, he played his debut game in the previous match against the Bengaluru Bulls but failed to create an impact.

3. Right Cover: Vaibhav Garje

Playing his 19th match for the Bengal Warriors franchise in his PKL career, Vaibhav Garje was in decent form in the first match. He was able to take two tackle points out of the four attempted tackles.

4. Left Corner: Aditya S.

We anticipated Nitin Rawal to be in the left corner position, but Bengal dropped in a surprise by playing Aditya S., and he did not disappoint at all. He played really well and gathered three crucial tackle points against the Bengaluru Bulls’ raiders.

5. Right Corner: Shubham Shinde

At the auction, Bengal spent a lot of money on defenders. Shubham Shinde was one of the big names they bought, paying INR 32.25 lakh for his services. Shinde has started this season brilliantly by taking four tackle points and being the Bengal team's best defender in their opening fixture.

6. Left In: Shrikant Jadhav

They acquired Shrikant Jadhav at auction once more to serve as Maninder Singh's backup raider. Jadhav has previously played for the Bengal Warriors in prior PKL seasons. He finished the previous season with 123 raid points and has started this one with just three.

7. Right In: Vishwas

Another young player that was given his debut PKL game was this promising raider, Vishwas. He supported Maninder brilliantly and gathered 4 raid points, including a multi-point raid against this strong defensive unit of the Bengaluru Bulls.

Probable starting 7 of the Bengal Warriors against the Jaipur Pink Panthers: Maninder Singh (c), Shreyas Umbardand, Vaibhav Garje, Aditya S, Shubham Shinde, Shrikant Jadhav, and Vishwas. Having started the season with a win, the Bengal Warriors would like to get another five points against their name, which will help them go ahead in the season. The Pink Panthers of Jaipur will post a tough challenge, but that is the beauty of the sport of Kabaddi and the Pro Kabaddi League.
