Top 5 players with the most time spent on the mat in PKL 10

The high-octane game in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) gives just a few seconds for players to respond and score points. Those few seconds are very crucial to make or break the game in their team's favour. This implies that if you stay longer on the mat most probably you will score more points than others. Meanwhile, during the Pro Kabaddi Season 10, there were few players who played brilliantly for their team and spent most of their time on the mat.

Neeraj Kumar

Neeraj Kumar from Patna Pirates was injured midseason during the PKL Season 10 campaign. He had a lot of responsibility when he was named the Patna Pirates' captain for the Pro Kabaddi Season 10. As the team's leader, he handled himself carefully to lead his group by spending more time on the mat. The right cover contributed 31 tackle points prior to suffering an injury. He ended up spending an average of 31 minutes and 32 seconds on the mat during the 14 games he participated in for the Pirates.

Mohammadreza Shadlou

It is obvious to choose the two-time top defender from PKL's Seasons 8 and 10, who is included on this list. Playing for Puneri Paltan in PKL 10, Mohammadreza Shadlou is unbeatable by raiders. He has certainly been among the most outstanding defenders during the last three PKL seasons. The left corner dominated the game and scored 99 tackle points in PKL Season 10. Remarkably, someone who plays aggressively and doesn't think twice to do advance tackle against the raiders may spend an average of 32 minutes and 40 seconds on the mat.

Sanket Sawant

Since PKL Season 7, Puneri Paltan's left cover Sanket Sawant has produced 32 tackle points, including a Super Tackle, in Season 10. His performance in a PKL season was the best it had ever been. He was essential in keeping his team's game stable and allowing other defenders to operate freely. Gaurav benefited greatly from his presence on the mat, as he spent an average of 33 minutes and 10 seconds in each PKL match.

Gaurav Khatri

In the 10th PKL edition, the young defender Gaurav Khatri, who was participating in just his second PKL season, made a name for himself. He was a standout performer, giving his squad an additional 69 tackle points. Following Mohammadreza Chiyaneh as the team's finest defender, Puneri Paltan's right corner was ranked second. Gaurav's confidence was bolstered by playing him in every match, and he had the best average mat time among all the Paltan players, clocking in at 33 minutes and 55 seconds.

Rahul Sethpal

Out of the three seasons he has played so far, the right corner's performance in the 10th PKL season was the finest. With 73 tackle points, Rahul Sethpal ranked among the top five tacklers on the scoreboard. He was the Haryana Steelers' front-line defender for the entire season, and he played a big part in the team's first-ever PKL final participation. Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 saw Rahul spend the most time on the mat, averaging 34 minutes and 50 seconds out of 40 minutes in a match.
