The Haryana vs Himachal Pradesh match of the Under-21 girls was one of the nail-biting encounters of the tournament. Both the teams went toe to toe against each other in the entire match. As Himachal looked to take a slight lead of a point or two, Haryana would come from behind and equalize the scores and vice versa. The match went into extra time as the 40-minutes ended with the scores being leveled at 27-27.

In the extra time, both the teams were again picking up a point on every raid. However, some strong display of defense from the Haryana girls gave them an edge over Himachal. The Haryana team won the match 35-32 as the final whistle blew. In what was one of the best matches of the category, it saw Himachal Pradesh give an extremely tough fight to the Haryana team.
