PKL 10 Auction postponed on AKFI's special request

The PKL season 10 which was going to be held on the 8th and 9th of September has been postponed by Mashal Sports, on the request that was made by AKFI. The schedule for the auction has been adjusted based on the training programme of the players for the Asian Games. The organizers of the PKL, and the teams have responded positively to the AKFI's request. The Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI), is a body that has been recognized by India for Kabaddi. 
 

A Mashal Spokesperson said, "We have received a formal request from the AKFI Administrator to defer the PKL Season 10 Player Auction in view of the ongoing preparations of the Indian Men’s and Women’s Teams for Kabaddi medal competitions at the Asian Games. Mashal and AKFI share the view that this is an event of vital importance for Indian Kabaddi."

 

Earlier the auction for the PKL season 10 was scheduled for the 8th and the 9th season of the PKL. But now new dates are going to be released. There is no doubt, that new dates will be coming soon, so it is going to be a matter of short time. 

A spokesperson from Mashal mentioned, “The Administrator has acknowledged and appreciated the comprehensive reworking that all PKL stakeholders including our 12 Teams and the broadcaster will have to make for the deferred player auction.

 

 

Soon, Mashal Sports is going to update about the new schedule after making a consultation with the PKL teams, and Start Sports.
