Priyanka Pilania and Pooja Hathwala To Grace Closing Ceremony of 33rd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship (Girls)

The 33rd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship (Girls) is underway from 31st March at the Patliputra Indoor Stadium in Patna. The opening ceremony of this competition was graced with the presence of Tejaswini Bai and Sachin Tanwar. Meanwhile, after the final of this tournament on 3rd April, the closing ceremony will be graced by women Kabaddi players of India- Priyanka Pilania and Pooja Hathwala.

Bihar State Kabaddi Federation, Secretary, Kumar Vijay Singh informed that the vice-captain of the Indian women's Kabaddi team Priyanka Pilania and star raider Pooja Hathwala will be the centre of attraction in the closing ceremony. Notably, Priyanka was the vice-captain of the Indian women's Kabaddi team which won the Gold medal at the Asian Games 2023, held in Hangzhou, China. Pooja was the top raider of the Asian Games 2023, she was the key player on the Indian side in their successful campaign.

 

Talking about the opening ceremony of the 33rd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship (Girls), Kumar Vijay said that the players were motivated to see Indian women's team head coach Tejaswini Bai and star player Sachin Tanwar, who played as captain of Patna Pirates in Pro Kabaddi League Season 10.  He said, "The only purpose of inviting veteran sports personalities to these functions is that the budding players should be encouraged to move forward by seeing all these and knowing about them."

A few days ago, the 33rd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship (Boys) was held at Motihari, Bihar. The opening and closing ceremony of this event was graced by veteran Kabaddi star Deepak Niwas Hooda and current Indian Men's team captain Pawan Sehrawat. Kumar Vijay said that the glory of the 33rd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship (Boys) was enhanced by the presence of Deepak and Pawan. The boys were highly motivated to see their favourite star, it also inspired them to perform better on the national stage.

Now, the 33rd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship (Girls) is nearing its business end. The competition will be fierce among all the teams and it will be interesting to see which team emerge victorious on the national stage. But one thing is for sure- the closing ceremony is a must-watch event for all Kabaddi fans as Priyanka Pilania and Pooja Hathwala will grace the event with their presence.
