Dabang Delhi defeat Tamil Thalaivas to become first team to win 5 games in the home-leg

Dabang Delhi playing their last match of the home leg came all prepared and did the job all right. With all the critics predicting 1 or 2 wins for Dabang Delhi, the Dabangs made all the critics silent with their performance tonight. Meraj Sheykh and Ajay Thakur started the raid for their team with empty raids. Dabang Delhi could score their first point in the 3rd minute while Tamil Thalaivas in the 5th minute. Dabang Delhi took the early control and inflicted the first all-out in the 10th minute.

In the first half Tamil Thalaivas defense failed to stop Dabang Delhi attack led by Meraj Sheykh and Naveen, who together scored 7 points in a low scoring battle. Tamil Thalaivas attack led by Ajay Thakur and Athul MS together scored 7 points which came in the last 12 minutes of the first half to narrow the gap. Dabang Delhi walked into the half time with 5 points lead with 16-10 score on board.

In the second half Dabang Delhi continued the momentum and inflicted the 2nd all-out in the 28th minute. Coming back from the all-out Ajay Thakur was on fire and Tamil Thalaivas staged a comeback and inflicted the first all-out in the 36th minute.

Ajay Thakur was brilliant in the second half and scored 10 point in his total tally of 14 points. He was supported by Sukesh Hegde and Athul MS with their 5 points each. It was Tamil Thalaivas defense which failed to deliver and socred just 4 tackle points, though with 2 tackle points Manjeet Chhillar completed 300 tackle points of his PKL career. While Dabang Delhi defense looked organized and Vishal Mane was once again brilliant and scored a high five. Towards the end  in the 39th minute Ajay Thakur was sent on the bench in a brilliant super tackle and Dabang Delhi ended the home-leg on a winning note.
