Can Bengal Warriors replicate produce a title winning season in PKL 10 after disappointment last year?

Following a subpar performance in the ninth edition of Pro Kabaddi, Bengal Warriors are eager to put the past season behind them and embark on the landmark 10th PKL season with a fresh perspective. Prior to the Season 10 Player Auction, Bengal Warriors opted to retain just four players, all of whom fell under the category of Emerging New Young Players.

The champions of PKL Season 7 utilized all three available Final Bid Match (FBM) cards to secure the services of Maninder Singh, Shrikant Jadhav, and Shubham Shinde for Season 10.

The dynamic duo of Maninder Singh and Shrikant Jadhav exhibited their raiding prowess in Season 9, with Maninder Singh amassing an impressive 238 raid points, ranking as the fifth best raider in the league. Simultaneously, Shrikant Jadhav contributed with 123 raid points, solidifying their status as one of the top raiding pairs in Season 9.

The addition of Nitin Rawal, a player with substantial PKL experience, promises to bolster the team's performance with his exceptional raiding and defensive skills. He showcased his potential while representing the Indian team in the recent Asian Games and aspires to maintain his form in Season 10.

The trio of Maninder Singh, Shrikant Jadhav, and Nitin Rawal brings a wealth of experience, each having played in five or more PKL seasons. Bengal Warriors are banking on their collective abilities to deliver outstanding performances in the upcoming season.

In addition to Nitin Rawal, the Warriors have welcomed another versatile all-rounder in the form of Akshay Bharat. Furthermore, the team has infused young raiders such as Vishwas S, Suyog Gaikar, R Guhan, Parshant Kumar, Aslam Thambi, Akshay Jaywant Bodake, Maharudra Garje, Nitin Kumar, and Chai-Ming Chang into their roster.

Meanwhile, Shubham Shinde and Vaibhav Garje, two standout defenders from the previous season, will be vital assets for the team in Season 10. Shubham Shinde tallied an impressive 43 tackle points in Season 9, solidifying his role as a cornerstone in Bengal Warriors' defense.

Vaibhav Garje, who made his PKL debut last season, delivered a commendable performance, accumulating 30 tackle points, including a High 5. He aims to build on his achievements in the upcoming campaign. To fortify their defensive lineup, Bengal Warriors have also acquired promising talents such as Akshay Kumar, Shreyas Umbardand, Aditya S. Shinde, and Dipak Arjun Shinde.

Overall, the champions of PKL Season 7 have meticulously balanced their roster, blending seasoned players with young talents. Their raiding department boasts strength and depth, while their defensive unit displays immense potential.
