Srinivas Sreeramaneni is also the managing director of the whole group. He also comes up with a strategy which involves mind games with other franchises. In one of the interviews, he revealed his plans for the auction.

One of the plans he came up with during the auction is, how pushing up prices for players and then retreating from bidding is an excellent auction strategy, as it would force other teams in spending more money than they would really want to for a particular player.

The other owner of the Telugu Titans franchise is Greenko Group.

As the name indicates, the Greenko Group works with green energy products. They deal in providing clean energy solutions like Solar or biomass projects. They also work on transferring the technology from developed countries to India.

Mr Mahesh Kolli is the founder-president and Joint Management Director at Greenko. he founded the company along with Mr Anil Chalamalasetty. Kolli is a mechanical engineer from Karnataka. He is also a speaker, who looks to spread the word about green technology around the country.

Talking about Ned Ventures, the company is owned by Gautham Nedurumalli and Sangeetha Nedurumalli. The company engages in construction activities.

History of Telugu Titans in the PKL:

Telugu Titans began their PKL journey in 2014. The team had a decent outing in the first edition, finishing fifth. They had 6 wins from 14 matches.

The second season of the Pro Kabaddi League is one of the best seasons for Telugu Titans. They finished second in the points table with eight wins from 14 games. They lost in the semi-final, finishing the league in the 3rd position.

The 3rd season witnessed them win seven games and lost as many. They ended the season in 5th spot and failed to make it to the playoffs.

The franchise made it to the knock-outs once again in the fourth season. They finished the league stage in the second spot but lost in the semi-final. The team had 8 wins from 14 matches.

In season 5, the teams were divided into two zones with each zone having six teams based on their geographical proximity. Each team played 15 intra-zonal matches and 7 inter-zonal matches.

Telugu Titans were placed in Zone B where they finished in the 5th spot. They had just 7 wins out of 22 games.

The sixth season was also a poor one for the franchise from the southern side. They had 8 wins from 22 matches, finishing fifth in Zone B.

The last three seasons for the team were poor. In the 7th season, they managed to win just 6 matches from their 22 games. In the 8th edition, they had only one win and lost 17 matches. This was their worst season in history.

In the most recent season, they managed to pick up a couple of wins and ended in the final spot.

Considering how badly the last few seasons went for the team, they will be keen to come up with a good team to get over the jinx and win the trophy.

The team is already making efforts to bring changes. They have appointed Alex Pandian as the deputy coach and Srinivas Reddy as the new head coach. They are also conducting trials to pick up New Young players for the upcoming edition.
