Tamil Thalaivas, who spent a total of INR 4.023 crore in the PKL 2023 auction, started the season 10 campaign with a solid victory against the season 8 champions, the Dabang Delhi franchise. The match was dominated by the Thalaivas from the beginning, as they won it by 11 points with a scoreline of 42-31.

Now, the Thalaivas will be going up against the Bengal Warriors, which will be their second match of the season on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. IST at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru. The Thalaivas had already retained the core of their squad from last season and went into the auction with the strategy of getting backup players.
