The much-awaited K7 Kabaddi UP League is fast approaching and it's time to gear up for some thrilling action. The event kicks off on April 15th and goes on till April 23rd, 2024. Kabaddi fans will be happy to hear that the Jaipur Pink Panthers' star raider, Arjun Deshwal, is the brand ambassador of the tournament.

Total 8 Teams To Fight for Glory
There are 8 teams that will be competing for glory in the upcoming K7 Kabaddi UP League. The names of the teams are- BK Warriors, Gorakhpur Giants, Taj Royals, Noida Raiders, Awadh Lions, Jhansi Fighter, Prayagraj Titans, and Kashi Yoddhas. The selection trials for these teams will be held in 3 different cities of Uttar Pradesh.

Fixture of K7 Kabaddi UP League

  • The K7 Kabaddi UP League will be held over a period of 9 days.
  • The first 7 days will consist of league-stage matches.
  • Format for the league stage is a single round-robin format, where all 8 teams will play against each other once.
  • A points table will be made based on the league stage performance, ranking the teams from 1st to 8th.
  • The top 6 teams will qualify for the playoff or knockout stage.
  • On the 8th day of the tournament, two eliminator matches and two semifinal matches will be played.
  • Eliminator 1 will be played between the 3rd and 6th ranked teams.
  • Eliminator 2 will see the 4th and 5th ranked teams compete.
  • The 1st and 2nd ranked teams will directly qualify for the semifinal round.
  • Semifinal 1 will be played between the winner of Eliminator 1 and the team that finished 1st in the points table.
  • On the other hand, in Semifinal 2, the 2nd ranked team will face off against the winner of Eliminator 2.
  • The grand finale of this prestigious Kabaddi tournament will take place on April 23rd.
