""--
Amit Ashok Academy ends Pool B being table topper with a win against Warriors Arena Academy.

In the last game of Pool B, Amit Ashok Academy defeated Warriors Arena Academy with the score of 45-37. AAA were already qualified for the super 6 whereas WAA had nothing to lose as with only 3 wins, they were out of the contention and wanted to end the tournament on a winning note. Match started with a close competition between teams as raiders from both teams scored points. Then AAA’s defence came into action and looked solid from the starting itself as their left cover Akshay Kumar didn’t let WAA’s raiders to get points after first 5 minutes. First all out from AAA was inflected through a solo tackle by Akshay from where AAA looked unstoppable and got a lead of 12 points. Inform player from WAA, Anish again looked good as he was the only one who scored points as other players struggled to hold AAA. AAA again got an all-out in the last minute of the first half and it ended with the score of 29-15.

In the 2nd half, WAA changed the strategy and tried to play with aggressive intent. Anish again did managed to score few more points but lack of support from others costed WAA to struggle as many errors were made by their defence. Akshay continued his super form from the 1st half as he made a sensational solo tackle to extend the lead further. WAA did had a chance to get their 1st all-out but AAA’s defence holded a super tackle and saved the team.

AAA’s raid duo, Jaswant and Rohit were unstoppable for WAA’s defence as they both scored super 10’s. WAA did made some sort of comeback in last 5 minutes as they inflected the first all-out this time but was too late as the lead was already high looking at the time left. With an extraordinary performance that too in defence from Akshay Kumar, he was awarded the Player of the Match award for his 11 tackle points including 2 solo tackles. Only positive for WAA in their last match was again their consistent performer Anish who had 15 points under him. Last match of Pool B ended with AAA’s comprehensive win by 8 points and end the round as table toppers.

From Pool B, Amit Ashok Academy, Narwal Kabaddi & Sports Academy and DNH Foundation have qualified for the Super 6 Stage. Super 6 matches will be starting from tomorrow with a clash between NK Academy and DNH Foundation.
