DAY 1 of SUPER 6, After a hard-fought first-round, the best six teams are finally here to start the proceedings to get the spot in the playoffs. The first game will be between the Pool A table-toppers NK Academy VS Pool B Deepak Niwas Hooda foundation, who just sneaked in the SUPER 6 with the win in their last game.

NKA started with four defenders, two raiders, and one all-rounder in their starting 7. DNHF decided to go with five defenders and two raiders. Prateek Dhaiya for DNHF leads the raid point chart with 132 raid points. On the other hand, Krishan from NKA leads the chart in the tackle points chart with 39 tackle points.

Rakesh went out to raid first for NKA and came back with a single touchpoint. Prateek Dhaiya replied as he ran away from a weak ankle hold. Both team's defense started with trying for ankle holds, but they were too week as both raiders 2 points apiece. Vijay Kumar finally got rid of Parteek Dahiya with the game's first successful tackle. Rakesh and Vinay scored consecutive points as NKA took the lead of 4 points. Sahil Kumar also got out with just two players left for DNHF.

Naveen Satnarian was tackled out successfully by the NKA defense. And the game's first all-out was conceded by DNHF. NKA extended their lead by 9 points as their defense was on top.

Vijay was leading by example, but Rohit, a raider by trade got in the act as well with two tackle points of his own. Rakesh scored another multi-point raid during his D.O.D raid as DNHF was yet again left with just two players on the court.

Rakesh got too greedy as he got out by a super tackle as DNHF survived the all-out then. Prateek Dhaiya, who finally came in after a while got out again as he failed to stamp his authority again as Rakesh finally got his all-out. NKA lead by 17 points with under 5 mins left.

But Bharat and Prateek Dhaiya finally got going as they scored multiple points and staged a comeback as NKA was all-out for the first time in the game as the half ended with NKA 24 - 16 DNHF.

2nd half started from where Bharat left as he scored a quick raid point. Rakesh replied with a multi-point raid but had to be substituted out as he got injured in the process. Umesh who came in for Rakesh, scored double touch points in his first raid as NKA lead by 10 points.

With Rakesh out Vinay was trying to lead his team and even got Prateek Dhaiya out with less than 12 mins left. Next, in his D.O.D raid, he scored another point as Goldy failed to save an all-out. NKA extended their lead by 16 points.

Defense on top of their game

DNHF was looking for another comeback as Prateek Dhaiya scored consecutive points with perfectly executed dubki skill. Bharat was trying his best to score some points off with the lead was still over 10 points with less than 4 mins left.

Prateek Dhaiya got dashed out by Manish but could not stop himself from going out of the mat as well. Umesh being the only raider left, slowed down the game to perfection. The lead was too big for DNHF to catch on to and the match ended with DNHF 32 - 43 NKA.

NKA starts with a bang as they won comfortably against DNHF but with Rakesh out injured, they would be hoping for his quick recovery till the next game out. DNHF started again poorly as they did in the pool stage and would like to bounce back quickly in their next match against Amit Ashok Academy.
