UP Yoddha's Monu Goyat and Sachin Kumar promoted to Naib Subedar rank in the Indian Army

Monu Goyat and Sachin Kumar, two players who are part of the UP Yoddha franchise in the Pro Kabaddi League have been promoted to Naib Subedar rank in the Indian Army. Read on to know more

Indian Kabaddi stars Monu Goyat and Sachin Kumar who play for the Up Yoddha franchise in the Pro Kabaddi League have been promoted to Naib Subedar Rank in the Indian Army. Naid Subedar Rank is provided to Junior Commissioned Officers in the Indian Army. A Junior Commission is awarded and signed by Havildar's commanding officer. JCO's in the army has many perks like economy class tickets, AC 2 Tier tickets, and more. JCO ranks in the Indian Army have 3 ranks under them- Subedar Major, Subedar, and Naib Subedar. Monu Goyat and Sachin Kumar now are part of the 3rd rank- Naib Subedar. 

Monu Goyat was last seen in action during the Pro Kabaddi League season 7 playing for UP Yoddha Franchise as their raider. He has been part of Haryana Steelers, Patna Pirates, and Bengal Warriors in the past. Sachin Kumar, the Left corner defender, was last seen in action during the 68th Senior National Kabaddi Championships in Ayodhya. Sachin was also part of the UP Yoddha team in season 7 of the PKL. He was part of the Bengaluru Bulls squad in season 5 of the PKL.
