Kabaddi Association of Jharkhand holds online meeting, Kabaddi likely to make a comeback in the state

The Kabaddi Association of Jharkhand on Sunday conducted online meeting to discuss 2021-2022 calendar. The meeting was presided by Kabaddi Association of Jharkhand President Shri Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, in the presence of General Secretary Shri Bipin Kumar Singh. State association presidents and General Secretaries from all the districts of Jharkhand were present in the online meeting.

General Secretary Shri Bipin Kumar Sinha took stock of all the players of different districts in the current situation. He spoke to the secretaries to understand what they are going through in the time of pandemic and to understand how players are continuing their training.

The 2021-2022 state championships calendar was also discussed during the meeting and senior state men & women championship was proposed to TATA Steel, Jamshedpur. Sports officer of TATA Steel Mr. Anand present in the meeting gave his consent immediately to organise this championship. While junior boys and girls championship was awarded to Gadhwa. Incase of failure to organise the aforesaid championships senior & junior championship will go to Palamu and sub junior to Dumka.

Office bearers also proposed to organise Referees and coaches workshop in Deoghar. The Kabaddi Association of Jharkhand also made this mandatory for players 18 years or above to carry COVID vaccination certificate to participate in any forthcoming tournament. Players without the certificates shall not be allowed to participate in any tournament. Players have to mandatorily register themselves on the website of Kabaddi Association of Jharkhand.
