K7 Kabaddi UP League: Awadh Lions Register First Win of the Season
The K7 Kabaddi UP League, organized by Kabaddi Adda, witnessed its 6th day of thrilling action on Saturday. Four exciting matches were played in which Awadh Lions, Kashi Yoddhas, BK Warriors, and Jhansi Fighters emerged victorious in their respective encounters.
The star raider of Haryana Steelers, Vinay graced the occasion with his presence. The Director of KabaddiAdda Vaibhav Jaiswal felicitated him. Vinay praised the K7 Kabaddi UP League and said that this platform is where young Kabaddi players can showcase their talent and earn a chance to get placed in the national team.
The K7 Kabaddi UP League is being held at the BK Kabaddi Academy grounds on Maharauli Road in Partapur. The tournament is scheduled to run from April 15 to April 23. Live telecast of the matches is being done on Doordarshan's DD Sports channel and Kabaddi Adda's YouTube channel from 3 PM to 7 PM.
In the first match of Saturday's action-packed day, Avadh Lions defeated Prayagraj Titans by a narrow margin of 41-39. The clash between Taj Royals and Kashi Warriors was equally entertaining, with Kashi edging out Royals 35-34. Meanwhile, BK Warriors overpowered Gorakhpur Giants 47-35. The final match of the day saw Jhansi Fighters triumph over Noida Raiders with 50-33 scoreline.
A total of 8 teams are participating in this 9-day tournament, with the final match scheduled to be played on April 23. It is noteworthy that the brand ambassador of this league is Arjun Deshwal, the star raider of Pro Kabaddi League team Jaipur Pink Panthers.
